Becker Al-Khayatt

Collaborator

Dr Becker Al-Khayatt is a Cardiology Specialist Registrar based in London. He qualified with honours from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2015, having achieved both a degree in medicine and cardiovascular sciences. Prior to his appointment in cardiology, he completed his postgraduate medical training, as well as a cardio-thoracic intensive care fellowship, at St George’s University NHS Hospitals. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, the British Cardiovascular Society and the British Junior Cardiovascular Association. He has had significant involvement in academia since the start of his career, with multiple international poster presentations and subsequent publications; With the Medical Data Research Collaborative, he published an observational analysis of atrial fibrillation incidence and mortality trends in the European Heart Journal, of which the preliminary data was presented as a poster at the 2019 European Society of Cardiology Scientific Sessions. He continues to work alongside the collaborative on further cardiovascular research
